Blake Lively is known as the queen of the red carpet.
The former star of Gossip Girl always steals the spotlight at the Met Gala with her stunning outfits that somehow always complement the carpet beneath her.
Despite being 36 years old, Blake famously styles herself for these events, preferring to showcase her own creativity through her fashion choices.
“I love design and I love fashion, and it’s a way to be creative,” she shared with Women’s Wear Daily in 2018. “In my job, I get to be creative, but it’s over a period of time and so many other people are involved, whereas this is a beginning, middle, and end, and I get to be creative and there’s an end date in the near future.”
Blake’s creativity was evident right from her first Met Gala appearance in 2008, where she stunned in a black strapless gown by Ralph Lauren, adorned with feathers and paired with short black gloves.
