On his X (formerly Twitter) account, Metro Boomin shared a gif of Izuku from the first season of My Hero Academia with the caption, “My Hero Academia is back in a week.” He made this post on April 30, just a few days before the release of the first episode of the seventh season on May 4th.
For fans who have been following Metro Boomin for a while, this post was not surprising as he has been a fan of anime for some time. He even dressed up as Denji from the anime Chainsaw Man. While he is a prominent figure in the hip-hop and trap scene, collaborating with artists like The Weeknd, Travis Scott, and more, fans were pleasantly surprised to learn about his love for My Hero Academia.
