Brittany Cartwright Denies That Her and Jax Taylor’s Breakup Is a Publicity Stunt
Brittany Cartwright is clarifying rumors surrounding her recent breakup with husband Jax Taylor.
In response to speculations that their separation, announced in February after four years of marriage, was a publicity stunt for their new Bravo series The Valley, the Vanderpump Rules alum denied the claims.
“It was so hurtful for me because I’ve always shown my true character,” Brittany, who has a 2-year-old son named Cruz with Jax, addressed on Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen on April 2. “I would never put my son through that for no reason. That doesn’t make any sense.”
The 35-year-old also explained the incident that led to her decision to move out of their Los Angeles home following a fight with Jax over a fabricated story involving Kristen [Doute].
