She also mentioned that the comment was just a small part of a much longer conversation, and that her future fiancé on the show, Jimmy Presnell, also made a similar comparison.
“It was a silly comment that was made,” she clarified. “It happened during a five-hour date and just slipped out. Just before that, [Jimmy] was comparing himself to Christian McCaffrey.”
As the online discussion continued to escalate, Chelsea felt it was important to reach out to someone: Megan herself.
“I contacted Megan,” she said, “and I apologized to her, saying ‘I’m sorry for involving you in this situation.’
Although Chelsea did not reveal whether the actress responded, she did mention that she is proud of how she has managed to handle being in the public eye. “I am much stronger than I ever imagined,” she reflected. “I don’t know how I am dealing with everything.”
