Producers Can’t Afford Gippy Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh in the Same Movie
During an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Gippy Grewal discussed the alleged feud with Diljit Dosanjh. He recalled an incident at an award show in Punjab where Gurdas Maan intervened and encouraged them to maintain harmony despite rumors. Gippy explained, “When we started our careers and did ‘Jihne Mera Dil Luteya,’ both Diljit and I had set our respective fees. Producers found it financially challenging to cast both of us in a film, which led to misconceptions about our relationship.”
Gippy Grewal Praises Diljit Dosanjh’s Amar Singh Chamkila
In a separate interview, Gippy Grewal praised Diljit Dosanjh’s portrayal of Amar Singh Chamkila and reminisced about attending Chamkila’s performances as a child. He acknowledged that many renowned Punjabi artists, including himself and Diljit, have paid tribute to Chamkila through their music. Gippy also highlighted the talent Imtiaz Ali showcased in his films and commended the star cast for their performances.
