Zendaya Discusses the Future of Euphoria Season 3.
“HBO and Sam Levinson remain dedicated to creating a remarkable third season,” they stated on March 25. “During this time, we are allowing our highly sought-after cast to explore other opportunities.”
The scripts for season three are still in progress due to adjustments made after the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, as well as the busy schedules of the star-studded cast (including Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi) and the tragic passing of Angus Cloud last summer.
Zendaya and Storm are not the only cast members eager for the start of season three. Jacob, 26, has previously voiced concerns about the cast aging beyond high school roles.
“I hope we start filming soon, or they’ll have to age me backwards somehow,” he joked on The Tonight Show in January. “I’ll be hobbling down the hallway with a bad back.”
“I’m assuming we’ll need to move forward,” predicted the Saltburn star regarding the timeline for season three. “Otherwise, it will come across as strange.”
