Zac Efron responds to comparisons between Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and High School Musical
Does Zac Efron appreciate the comparisons between Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and High School Musical? Definitely.
The former Disney star has recently discovered the similarities between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, the “Karma” singer, and his character Troy Bolton from Vanessa Hudgens‘ character Gabriella in the movie franchise. In the films, Gabriella supports Troy in a crucial championship game, mirroring the real-life relationship between Kelce and Swift. Additionally, the question arises of what choices their hypothetical children would make between theater and sports.
“I hadn’t thought about that,” Zac shared with E! News while promoting his new Prime Video film Ricky Stanicky. “It’s actually pretty cool. Shout out to all the fans of High School Musical.”
Although Zac was unaware of the online discussions, he was pleased to see the comparisons taking flight. “I find the Travis and Taylor comparisons intriguing. I’m genuinely happy for them,” he added. “They are two amazing individuals. How could anyone not be excited for them?”
