YouTuber Jack Doherty’s $200,000 Sports Car Crashes During Livestream
YouTuber Jack Doherty is gaining notoriety for all the wrong reasons.
The 20-year-old social media sensation had a mishap while live streaming on the platform Kick on October 5th, involving his $200,000 car. The incident was captured on camera for viewers who were watching the stream at that time, as reported by NBC News.
In the video, which was taken down from Kick but quickly circulated on X (formerly Twitter), Jack’s cameraman Michael filmed Jack driving along a Miami highway from the passenger side as it was raining.
Despite periodically glancing at his phone, Jack began shouting, “No, no, no!” while struggling with the steering wheel of his customized McLaren 570S before the livestream briefly cut out.
He then asked his cameraman to open the door, followed by scenes of Michael with blood on his face as they both assessed the damage. The front of the sports car seemed severely damaged from colliding with a metal highway barrier.
During the footage, Jack checked on his friend’s condition before requesting him to keep filming the aftermath of the accident.
