Ice-T surprised fans during a break from filming a National Iced Tea Day campaign by referencing the intense scene in the last episode where Fin survives a life-threatening encounter. As the 25th season of Law & Order: SVU approached, Ice-T’s character, Det. Fin Tutuola, faced being shot once again. Ice-T mentioned the shooting while taking a break from filming a campaign for National Iced Tea Day with Raising Cane’s.
The gripping episode “Duty to Hope” in the 25th season features a tense encounter where Fin encounters Toby, the son of a criminal he helped imprison. Fin gets wounded in the arm in a split-second moment of disarmament.
Ice-T learns about his character’s fate
Ice-T revealed that he found out about Fin’s fate from whispers before he finished reading the script. The actor survived the shooting and is eager for the upcoming 26th season of SVU.
Law & Order: SVU has been renewed for a 26th season, and Ice-T is excited for the new season and the potential for more seasons beyond that.
