“That friendship is so deep and amazing,” she shared with E! News in November. “He surprises me and plans fun things for us, which allows us to step outside of our roles as parents and connect in a nice way.”
She also recognizes the value of actively listening to each other, believing it to be not only crucial in marriage, but also in parenting.
“Just listening to your kids and understanding their wants and needs,” she explained.
