Austin Abrams, star of “Wolf,” shares his experience working with George Clooney and Brad Pitt: ‘They are incredibly welcoming guys’
Austin Abrams discusses his experience working with George Clooney and Brad Pitt on the latest Apple TV+ release, Wolfs. While his role in the film adds comedic elements, his interactions with these Hollywood veterans were unexpected.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Abrams shared that he never imagined working with Pitt and Clooney so early in his career.
During the interview, the young actor recounted how he was welcomed warmly by the Oceans duo. He said, “It would’ve been If I had had the nerve to think about it or the audacity to think that it was possible.”
Abrams added, “I don’t know whose it wouldn’t be on. It’s insane to be able to do that, to work with these two guys that I’ve loved their work for so long.”
In Wolfs, Abrams plays a character who is believed to have died from a drug overdose. However, when Clooney and Pitt try to dispose of his body, he suddenly wakes up claiming to be alive.

Discussing his role further, Abrams described his character as naive and emotional, often finding himself in tricky situations while trying to help others.
He mentioned how his character initially feared and idolized Clooney and Pitt, but eventually felt more comfortable around them.
Despite their strong bond of friendship, Clooney and Pitt welcomed Abrams with open arms on set, where he brought a sarcastic energy that fit in well with the group.
According to Abrams, “They’re super warm guys and welcoming, so that was really helpful to feel comfortable.” Wolfs is available to stream on Apple TV+ and is also showing in select theaters.
