Jon Watts, Director of “Wolfs,” Shares Future Collaboration Plans for George Clooney and Brad Pitt
The dynamic duo of Brad Pitt and George Clooney, known for their roles in the Oceans movie series, received high praise at the Venice Film Festival where their latest movie premiered. Directed by Jon Watts, who is also behind the Spider-Man Trilogy starring Tom Holland, this highly anticipated film brings the two veteran actors together in a crime-comedy genre.
Watts shared that the idea for the film came to him in New York, motivating him to write the script. Reflecting on his decision to set the movie in New York at night, the director expressed his love for the city and the opportunity to work with Pitt and Clooney on a project that required both of their talents.
Pitt and Clooney, who were looking for new projects at the time, were drawn to Watts’ unique idea and signed on to the film. The storyline follows their characters, Fixers summoned to cover up a crime by Amy Ryan, despite their differing approaches. Forced to collaborate, the duo navigates the complexities of the task at hand.
With an ensemble cast including Amy Ryan, Poorna Jagannathan, and Austin Abrams, “Wolfs” is set to premiere in select theaters on September 20, followed by a release on Apple TV+. The film promises an engaging and thrilling experience for viewers.
