Jeremy Allen White is gearing up to star in the Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. In an interview at the premiere of The Bear season 3, the actor spoke to Variety and mentioned his plans to do his own singing while portraying the rock star.
Allen White expressed his desire to learn about the music-making process before meeting the iconic artist. As he prepares for his musical journey, the After Everything actor is also set to appear in the new season of the restaurant drama The Bear.
What did Jeremy Allen White say about working on the Bruce Springsteen movie?
During his conversation with the entertainment portal, Allen White disclosed that the film is still in the development stage. Additionally, his songs for the movie have yet to be recorded. The Rental actor mentioned, “We’ve communicated a little bit through some other people, but I hope this still all comes together.”
He added, “We’ve still got a few things; we’ve got some timing stuff to work out, and I’m trying to have a bit of my own process with it before meeting the man, too.”
Jeremy Allen White also discussed the upcoming season of The Bear, where original cast members will reprise their roles along with new faces joining the popular show.
The Shameless star commented, “We let a lot of these beautiful characters and beautiful actors shine that maybe haven’t had their moments in previous seasons.” He emphasized, “The world gets bigger, but we also maintain the same heart, structure, and energy that we had in the very beginning.”

Jeremy Allen White comments on Ayo Edebiri’s directorial debut with The Bear
In the third season of The Bear, Ayo Edebiri will not only showcase her acting skills but also take on directing duties for certain episodes. Speaking about Edebiri’s directorial skills, Allen White praised, “She did a beautiful job.”
He further shared, “She was very confident. Everybody knows how smart she is, and she’s a beautiful actress and very intuitive actress. And I think she’s a very beautiful and intuitive director as well.”
All episodes of The Bear season 3 will be available for streaming on June 26 on Hulu and Disney+.
