Jake Shane suspects that he won’t be asked to be the godparent of Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge’s baby girl.
As a TikToker with over 2.8 million followers under the name Octopusslover8, Jake thinks he’s not fit to babysit, recalling a past incident where he had to call the parents when the baby he was watching started crying.
In an exclusive interview with E! News’ The Rundown host Erin Lim Rhodes, Jake revealed that he never babysat again after that incident.
Instead, Sofia and Elliot jokingly assigned him the role of “Uncle Puss” in their family. When it comes to baby names, Jake leaves that decision up to Sofia.
Sofia, 25, and Elliot, 30, announced their pregnancy in January, with Sofia revealing her baby bump on the cover of Vogue. This news came after their lavish French wedding, which Jake attended along with notable guests like Lionel Richie, Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz, Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Paris Hilton, and Carter Reum.
