Why Whitney Way Thore of TLC Believes She Probably Won’t Have Children
Even with her eggs on ice, she is starting to confront some harsh realities.
In the upcoming 12th season of the TLC series (premiering on July 9 at 9 p.m.), Whitney shared, “I visited the fertility doctor and received some positive news. If I choose to undergo IVF, I still have a few more years.”
She added, “However, I desire a partner. While I could possibly go through with it alone, I wouldn’t really want to. Though life can be unpredictable, making me a single mother is not a scenario I am prepared for.”
Unless her luck changes, maybe with a scheduled trip to Europe this fall, Whitney pondered, “If I can’t find the right man, or even just a man, how likely is it that I will be ready to have a baby in two or three years?” She admitted, “It’s a daunting thought. I am trying to come to terms with the possibility of it not happening, so that if it does, it will be a pleasant surprise.”
