Raven-Symoné Responds to Criticism About Her Wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday
Raven-Symoné is not paying attention to the haters anymore.
A month after standing up for her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday when she received criticism for not watching Raven’s previous work, the star of That’s So Raven explained why she felt the need to respond to the negativity online.
“It was important to me because my wife didn’t deserve the backlash she was getting,” Raven told E News at Tiffany Haddish‘s Adult PROM event on May 31. “She didn’t say anything offensive, and people were misjudging her, plain and simple.” (For more from Raven, watch E! Even though there will always be critics, Miranda believes that negativity towards their relationship will never go away.
“People will always be people, they will always hate,” Miranda said. “They will always have opinions. We addressed it to find peace and put it to rest.”
