Pregnant Cardi B finally divorces Offset after a long time coming
Cardi B and Offset have been experiencing difficulties in their relationship for some time.
Just a day before revealing her pregnancy with their third child, the “I Like It” rapper filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, indicating that this was a decision she didn’t take lightly.
“This is not due to a single incident,” a representative for Cardi B told E! News. “It has been building up over time.”
Cardi, who has children Kulture (5) and Wave (2) with Offset, has been open about the challenges they have faced as a couple. Despite still being legally married, Cardi mentioned in December that she had been single for some time.
In the same month, they unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Cardi later shared a cryptic message about ending relationships.
“You know when you just outgrow relationships,” the 31-year-old posted on her Instagram Story. “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings…I HAVE TO PRIORITIZE MYSELF FIRST!”
