The reason why Nick Viall and Natalie Joy decided to cancel their “Nightmare” honeymoon
Nick Viall and Natalie Joy‘s honeymoon was over before it even started.
Following their romantic wedding at Natalie’s family farm in Georgia, the couple’s happily ever after hit a snag at the airport in the Turks and Caicos Islands, where they were planning to spend their celebratory getaway.
“We were exhausted, after back-to-back nights with no sleep,” the Bachelor Nation star shared in a May 2 episode of The Viall Files. “The agent stamped the passport, was about to return it, and then noticed, ‘There’s a torn page here.'”
Initially, Nick, who had been using his passport as ID since misplacing his driver’s license, thought it was his passport that had the issue. However, it turned out to be Natalie’s.
“I’ve used this passport without any problems before,” she said. “I don’t understand what’s wrong.”
The customs officials informed Natalie and Nick, along with their 2-month-old daughter River, that they would need to send Natalie back to the U.S. due to concerns about her documents.
