JoJo Siwa Opens Up About How Her Past Relationship Has Left Her with Trauma
JoJo Siwa is opening up about her romantic past.
The 20-year-old is currently single, and it seems that part of the reason for that is the aftermath of her last relationship.
“My previous relationship was very public, by choice from both of us,” JoJo, who split from TikToker Avery Cyrus in 2022, shared on the April 10 episode of Call Her Daddy. “Our relationship was very public, and even our breakup was very public. There were a lot of things that happened, which I wish I could share, but due to legal reasons, I had to let my security team handle it and found out the truth.”
She went on to say, “It caused a trauma that I didn’t realize I had. It has made it difficult for me to trust again. Right now, I am focusing on my art and career, which helps keep me occupied. But I still believe in love.”
When asked by host Alex Cooper why she couldn’t reveal more details, JoJo explained, “There are legal constraints at play.”
