Shannon Beador Faces Lawsuit from Ex John Janssen: RHOC Star Opens Up About Legal Battle
Shannon Storms Beador, a star from The Real Housewives of Orange County, is facing legal troubles with her ex-partner John Janssen. In an episode that aired on September 5, Beador mentioned that she had a deadline to settle with John before he sued her for $75,000, which he claimed was a loan.
She shared that she offered to pay half of the sum, but Janssen refused. According to PEOPLE, she was emotional as she recounted the situation.
Calling it extortion, Shannon mentioned that Janssen had recently sold his share of his insurance company and didn’t need her money. She felt that this legal action was aimed at tarnishing her reputation while portraying John as the good guy.
In response, John stated to PEOPLE that he had been generous in his relationship with Shannon and that she knew she had to repay the $75,000 loan. He expressed reluctance in pursuing legal action but claimed Shannon had left him with no choice.
John emphasized that his main goal was to resolve the financial matter and allow both parties to move on with their lives.
In a later part of the episode, Alexis Bellino, now engaged to John, considered discussing the issue with Shannon. Despite advice from Heather Dubrow to avoid confrontation, Bellino expressed her desire to address the issue and move forward.
Shannon and John had been in an on-and-off relationship since 2019, which was showcased on RHOC. Following their breakup in late 2022, John has found new love in Alexis Bellino.
Before Shannon and Alexis, John was married for 18 years before finalizing a divorce in 2011.
