For those who prefer tradition, brass is seen as the classic 21st anniversary gift. Thus, since Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. celebrated this milestone last September, they may consider sending a piece of heavy metal to their close friend.
If their mutual friend had not missed her flight to the west coast on that fateful January day in 2000, the costars of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” might have continued as friends who occasionally share meals.
However, with their dinner companion absent, Gellar shared on Instagram that they still decided to meet and catch up.
During their dinner at upscale sushi restaurant Asanebo, Gellar impressed Prinze with her eating habits. Prinze mentioned in a 2016 Facebook Live interview that many actresses in Hollywood at the time only ate salads, but Gellar ate everything, even a live crab that was eventually cooked and offered as “popcorn” for Prinze to try.
Upon witnessing her fearless eating habits, Prinze realized, “Yo, my girl is legit.”
