Actress Tabu reveals reason for not reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan after Saathiya
Tabu is currently enjoying success in her career. She is gearing up for the release of Neeraj Pandey’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, co-starring Ajay Devgn. Fans are also excited to see her in the teaser for Hollywood’s Dune: The Prophecy. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about why she hasn’t worked with Shah Rukh Khan.
Tabu breaks silence on collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan
Tabu and Shah Rukh Khan were last seen together in Shaadi Ali’s Saathiya in 2002, followed by a cameo in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. When asked why they haven’t worked together since, Tabu responded, “I am not involved in the casting decisions. I can only choose from the roles offered to me.”
She mentioned that she has turned down several roles, and believes Shah Rukh Khan may have done the same. Despite both actors not crossing paths for a project, Tabu acknowledged the fans’ desire to see them reunite on-screen.
Tabu also shared her experience of working on the Deewangi Deewangi song from Om Shanti Om, mentioning that she received expensive gifts from Shah Rukh Khan for her cameo.
