Christina Applegate Struggling with MS: A Personal Hell
Christina Applegate‘s ongoing battle continues.
Over a month since her appearance at the Emmys where she received a standing ovation from the audience, the Dead to Me star reflected on the significance of the moment while being open about her everyday struggles living with multiple sclerosis.
“I live in a kind of hell,” she shared with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts in a preview of their interview airing on Mar. 12. She also expressed gratitude for the support and love she received at the award show despite the challenge it posed to her system.
Christina also addressed the humorous comment she made on stage, acknowledging the audience’s standing ovation as she joked, “You’re totally shaming me with disability by standing up. It’s fine.”
She confessed to Robin, “I kind of blacked out when I said that. People found it funny, but I was so overwhelmed that I lost track of what was happening.”
