Blake Shelton Jokingly Expresses Guilt in Relationship with Gwen Stefani
Blake Shelton knows that his recent request for Gwen Stefani was quite unexpected.
Despite this, the country star invited his wife, who had just reunited with No Doubt at Coachella’s opening weekend, to join him on stage at the grand opening of his Ole Red bar in Las Vegas on April 16.
“I felt a bit guilty asking her to do it, but not guilty enough to not ask,” Blake shared exclusively with E! News. “She’s had a busy week.”
Blake mentioned that Gwen, who not only performed with her original band but also with Olivia Rodrigo during her April 13 performance, put in a lot of effort to prepare for her Coachella shows.
“The rehearsals leading up to that were intense because she hadn’t played with those guys in almost a decade,” he said. “They had to practice and refresh the music to get ready.” (For more insights from Blake, watch E! News tonight at 11 p.m.)
