Bella Hadid’s Decision to Step Away from Modeling During Move to Texas
Bella Hadid is embarking on a new journey.
The supermodel recently shared that she has relocated to Texas in order to take a step back from the modeling industry, feeling that it was no longer fulfilling her.
“After a decade in the modeling world,” Bella revealed in an interview with Allure on April 30, “I realized that I was investing so much of my energy and love into something that wasn’t reciprocating.”
Instead, the 27-year-old is venturing into a new project – her own fragrance line named Orebella, derived from a blend of her name and the Arabic term for “iron ore.”
Explaining her decision, Bella shared, “Growing up in an Arab household, scents and perfumes were a significant part of our identity. I still recall the distinct aromas of my grandparents and my uncle Mahmoud crafting his own essential oils in the ’70s – rich, woody fragrances reminiscent of tobacco.”
