Armie Hammer’s Involvement in Selling Timeshares in the Cayman Islands Amid Allegations of Wrongdoing
However, that wasn’t the initial job he applied for. Among his preferred professions were drama teacher, landscaper, and building manager.
Hammer explained, “The Cayman Islands is unwilling to grant me work permits. Is there a scenario where I could just say ‘f–k it’ and find a way to borrow money from family or something like that? Yes. But that goes against who I am, it’s not what I want to do. It’s never been the person I aspire to be.”
Despite all the sexual misconduct allegations, Hammer emphasized that he has always gone against the norm.
“At 19 years old, I made the decision to pursue acting,” he continued. “I didn’t follow the family tradition, I didn’t finish high school, I didn’t attend college, I didn’t pursue an MBA. If I had chosen that path, my life and career would have been predetermined. I would have relied on a job, a steady income. But that wasn’t me.”
