Fans Are Shocked by Ariana Grande’s Voice Transformation
Ariana Grande may find herself repeating that statement one more time.
Recently, the singer of “Boy Is Mine” caught the attention of fans when she seemed to switch between two different accents during an interview on Penn Badgley‘s podcast called Podcrushed.
In a video clip from the episode airing on June 12, Ariana playfully mentioned feeling like Austin Powers while working on new music in a deep voice. She then responded to a question about releasing new songs post her album Eternal Sunshine, with a noticeable shift to a higher pitch, saying, “Yeah, I’ve been writing a lot. Maybe there’s some more. I would like to do a deluxe version at some point.”
Fans were quick to notice the change in Ariana’s accent, with some being surprised by it.
“THE VOICE CHANGE OMG,” one user commented on X, while another joked, “Me when I have to use my customer service voice.”
Some fans saw nothing unusual about the Grammy winner switching between different vocal tones, attributing it to the nature of her profession.
As one user pointed out, “It’s time people realize she is a VOCALIST, of course, she’ll have multiple voices.”
