Alex Cooper Reveals Why Zayn Malik’s Interview Was Her Most Challenging
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid, who share 2-year-old daughter Khai, ended their relationship in late 2021 amidst reports of a disagreement with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, at their Pennsylvania home. An E! News report that year revealed that Zayn was accused of engaging in behavior with the intention to harass, annoy, or alarm Gigi and Yolanda, including communicating lewd, threatening, or obscene words, even though Gigi was not present. Zayn denied the allegations and emphasized his commitment to protecting Khai’s privacy.
Years later, Zayn reaffirms his stance in an interview with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper.
“I stand by what I said at the time. I knew the truth, as did all parties involved,” Zayn shared. “I simply didn’t want to engage in a negative public exchange that could potentially impact my daughter in the future. I handled the situation in a respectful and amicable manner.”
Zayn expressed his desire to avoid unnecessary negativity surrounding the situation, emphasizing that he believes he addressed it appropriately.
