Get to know Aniruddh Dave: Kartik Aaryan’s co-star from Chandu Champion who spent days in hospital
Kartik Aaryan is currently receiving a lot of love for his portrayal of India’s first Paralympics gold medallist Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion. Another actor who has also made an impact in the film is popular TV personality Aniruddh Dave, who plays Petkar’s brother Jagannath Rajaram Petkar. Read on to find out more about him!
Who is Aniruddh Dave, who played Kartik Aaryan’s brother in Chandu Champion?
Chandu Champion, released on June 14, 2024, is doing well at the box office. While Kartik Aaryan is leading the show, Aniruddh Dave is also being praised for his compelling role.
Dave is a well-known actor who has been part of the TV industry for many years. Known for his roles in shows like Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Phulwa, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Patiala Babes, and others, Aniruddh also tried his luck in films but didn’t make a big impact until now.
Even though he aspired to be an actor since childhood, his attempt to get into the National School of Drama in Delhi failed. However, he didn’t give up and came to Mumbai to audition for films and TV shows.
While struggling to find work in the entertainment industry, he worked in bars until he landed his first show Raajkumar Aaryyann in 2008. A few years ago, he battled COVID-19, spending nearly 57 days in the hospital for treatment.
During this challenging time, he lost hope but eventually recovered and continued auditioning until he got the chance to be a part of Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. Dave has also been in films like Kaagaz 2, Bell Bottom, and Pranaam.
