What We Know So Far About the Release of Season 6 of FBI: Most Wanted
The fifth season of FBI: Most Wanted concluded on a positive note, despite some uncertainty among the cast leading up to the final episode. The season ended with the first wedding in the FBI universe, as Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) married Cora Love (Caroline Harris) in the May finale. Although it was a wonderful occasion, Hodge initially had concerns that the writers might add an unexpected twist to disrupt the wedding.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in May, Hodge shared his concerns, stating, “My first question was, ‘What’s going on at the wedding? I need to know. I do not want any surprises. Do I get shot? Is it a huge deal?’ And they said, ‘No, no, no. The wedding is a wedding. And then the case will conflict with it.’ I said, ‘All right, cool.'” Hodge admitted to feeling some fear that something unexpected might happen during the wedding, but fortunately, there was no unforeseen drama.
Details about the upcoming sixth season, which was renewed in April, are still limited. However, when the series returns in October, viewers can look forward to seeing what lies ahead for Ray and his new wife, along with the other characters.
Season 6 of FBI: Most Wanted will premiere on Tuesday, October 15, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. The new season will air between FBI at 8 p.m. and FBI: International at 9 p.m.
In the Season 5 finale, viewers watched as Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) and Cora Love (Caroline Harris) tied the knot after Ray’s proposal earlier in the season. The episode started with a tense setup, as the Fugitive Task Force successfully prevented a dirty bomb from detonating in Manhattan, allowing the entire team, including Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) and his date Abby Deaver (Susan Misner), to attend the wedding.
Hodge described the filming of the wedding as an all-hands-on-deck situation, with the costume department and even some crew members getting involved in the celebration. Despite concerns about potential plot twists, the wedding went smoothly.
In Season 6, McDermott, Hodge, Roxy Sternberg (Sheryll Barnes), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Hana Gisbon), and Shantel VanSanten (Nina Chase) will all be returning. To reduce costs, the series will shorten the number of episodes per season, guaranteeing payment for 20 out of 22.
