Video: Travis Kelce’s Conversation with Taylor Swift After the Super Bowl
The NFL’s cameras and microphones were able to pick up exactly what Travis Kelce said to Taylor Swift following the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.
While embracing each other on the Allegiant Stadium field during the Super Bowl 58 postgame festivities, the 34-year-old Chiefs tight end can be heard gushing to Swift and thanking her for flying from Japan for the game.
“Thank you for coming half way across the world, you’re the best baby, the absolute best,” Kelce can be heard saying.
Swift, of course, famously flew from Tokyo to Las Vegas just a day prior to Super Bowl 58 on Sunday, February 11.
In Super Bowl 58 against the San Francisco 49ers — which was Kelce’s fourth appearance in the big game — the future Hall of Fame tight end had nine catches for 93 yards, which were both team-highs.
The Chiefs’ win in the Super Bowl over the Niners makes it three Super Bowl titles in the last five seasons for the AFC West club.
Furthermore, their back-to-back titles have also made them the first NFL team to repeat as champions since Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots pulled it off during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
Given the dominance of Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs will surely be considered one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl next year, too.
