Prince William’s Activities During Kate Middleton’s Photo Controversy
Several hours after the photo was shared, the Associated Press issued a “kill notice,” advising editors and clients not to use or remove the photograph from their websites.
“Upon closer inspection, it was evident that the source had altered the image in a manner that did not meet AP’s photo standards,” the news organization stated in a release to NBC News. “The photo displayed an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.”
As Kate continues to recuperate from a planned abdominal surgery she underwent in January, followers of the royal family eagerly anticipate updates on her recovery. However, Kensington Palace has indicated that they will only share “significant updates.”
Following the public’s response to a previous concise update stating that Kate is “doing well,” a spokesperson for the Princess reiterated her preference for privacy.
“Back in January, Kensington Palace outlined the schedule for the princess’ recovery and committed to sharing only significant updates,” the spokesperson informed E! News. “That directive still applies.”
