The Thoughts of the Cast of Love on the Spectrum on the Show
Love on the Spectrum captured the hearts of its viewers.
And it seems that the cast members feel the same way. Season two stars Connor Tomlinson, Abbey Romeo, and Dani Bowman—the latter two who have been with the show since season one—recently shared their reflections on filming the Netflix dating series.
“First of all, this show Love on the Spectrum,” Dani shared with E! News in an exclusive interview on Autism Acceptance Day, April 2, “allowed all of us on the spectrum in the show to be our true authentic selves and have our own voice to answer our questions. They’re very genuine, allowing us to be honest with some questions and answers, which is fantastic.”
The 28-year-old continued, “They’re not here to exploit but to showcase the differences and different abilities.”
Connor also expressed similar sentiments about the show aiming for authenticity and setting a positive example for viewers.
“It’s important to show people,” he explained, “that we can push past our limitations—whether we’re neurodiverse or neurotypical—and make our dreams come true.”
