Justin Timberlake’s Statements to Police During DWI Arrest
Recent reports have revealed additional information regarding Justin Timberlake‘s arrest for DWI.
The former member of *NSYNC was arrested on June 18 after showing signs of intoxication during a traffic stop in Sag Harbor, NY, as stated in a criminal complaint obtained by NBC News.
Timberlake was driving a gray BMW with Florida plates when he was pulled over for disregarding a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane around 12:17 a.m., according to the court documents.
During the interaction with authorities, it was noted that the 43-year-old singer had bloodshot and glassy eyes, emitted a strong smell of alcohol from his breath, had slowed speech, and exhibited an inability to focus, as recorded by Sag Harbor Village officer Michael Arkinson.
Despite performing poorly on sobriety tests, Timberlake reportedly refused to undergo a chemical test when asked by police, stating, “‘No, I’m not doing a chemical test.'”
