Abby Lee Miller’s True Thoughts on JoJo Siwa’s Transition to Adulthood
JoJo Siwa‘s adult era has caught the attention of her former Dance Moms instructor.
Not holding back her thoughts on the 20-year-old’s new look, Abby Lee Miller commented on JoJo’s “Karma” music video, where she sported dark, KISS-like makeup while dancing with another woman. Abby mentioned she didn’t understand why there was such a fuss about JoJo’s rebranding.
“It’s JoJo with paint on her face and a fabulous costume,” the choreographer shared in an April 5 TikTok video. “It used to be all stars and rainbows and pink, lavender, and turquoise, now it’s black.”
The 58-year-old acknowledged, “It’s still her showcasing incredible dancing, so I see it more as her maturing, growing older, and wanting to reveal another side of herself.”
Praising JoJo’s edgy outfits as a bold departure from her previous style, Abby exclaimed, “I thought the costumes were over-the-top. Loved it all.”
