Orlando Bloom Pushes His Limits in the Trailer for To The Edge
Orlando Bloom is embarking on a new adventure. After many years of portraying daring and imaginary characters, the 44-year-old actor is taking on real-life thrills in Peacock’s latest three-part series Orlando Bloom: To The Edge. The trailer, which was released on March 19, teases Orlando’s journey as he tackles the challenges of wingsuit flying, rock climbing, and free diving.
“I’ve always had a passion for adventure,” the star of Pirates of the Caribbean expresses in a voiceover at the beginning of the trailer. “Living on the edge is where I feel most alive. This time, I will be learning from extraordinary individuals who truly understand how to push boundaries.”
Throughout the series, Orlando—father to 13-year-old son Flynn with ex-partner Miranda Kerr and 3-year-old daughter Daisy with fiancée Katy Perry—prepares himself for the daunting challenges ahead, each one carrying its own set of risks.
Standing on the edge of a cliff with his climbing instructor, Orlando is reminded, “This is extremely dangerous territory.” The instructor emphasizes the importance of Orlando understanding all the risks involved, especially considering his role as a parent.
