Alia Bhatt has kicked off promotions for her upcoming film Jigra, set to release on October 11 this year. After an event, she met an elderly admirer who she seemed to know. Alia greeted the man joyfully, saying, “Are kaise ho aap, Itne dino baad? (How are you, been so long)”.
Standing before him with joined hands, they shared a warm moment before Alia said, “Hum milenge fir (we’ll meet soon)” and left. The video of this interaction has gone viral, with fans praising her humility and respect.
Some speculated that the man was Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia’s bodyguard Tajinder Singh Teji, but his identity remains unconfirmed.
Others noted Alia’s resemblance to her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor’s hairstyle. Alia is married to Neetu and Rishi Kapoor’s son, Ranbir Kapoor. They welcomed their daughter Raha on November 6, 2022.
Alia’s film Jigra, also starring Vedang Raina, is directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions.
