Video: Dhanush hurries from Raayan audio launch to Kubera sets, makes quick stop in Hyderabad
Following the audio launch of Raayan, Dhanush quickly headed to the sets of Kubera in Hyderabad to join the shoot. This marks his first time sharing screen space with Rashmika Mandanna in the film.
Dhanush has a busy year ahead, with his recent release Captain Miller followed by Raayan, set to release at the end of this month.
Directed and written by Dhanush himself, Raayan is a gangster drama set in North Chennai. This is Dhanush’s second directorial venture after Paa Paandi in 2017, where he will now play the lead role.
Dhanush spotted at Hyderabad airport for Kubera shoot
Yesterday’s audio launch in Chennai featured performances by Dhanush and composer AR Rahman, generating high expectations for the film. Without delay, Dhanush proceeded to the sets of Kubera, his third confirmed film for the year, showcasing his dedication and commitment to his craft.
About Raayan
Raayan sees Dhanush returning behind the camera for a gangster-action drama set in North Chennai, an area he has excelled in as an actor. With an ensemble cast including S.J. Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, and others, the film promises to be an exciting venture.
AR Rahman has composed the music for Raayan, with the songs already making waves. The third single, “Raayan Rumble,” is a rap featuring Arivu and AR Rahman after Mamannan.
Mysteries in Kubera
Telugu director Sekhar Kammula is bringing a pan-Indian mythological film, Kubera, featuring a star-studded cast including Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. The film promises to unravel many mysteries.
