Lainey Wilson has shared a disturbing incident that occurred during one of her concerts. Speaking on the Taste of Country Nights podcast, the singer recounted being spit on while performing.
Despite her initial urge to confront the person responsible, Wilson continued her performance without taking any action.
During the podcast, Wilson elaborated on the incident, saying, “Last year, on our headlining tour, someone spit on me while on stage. I thought about going after them, but I chose to keep performing.”
The Grammy-winning artist reflected on the incident, expressing both disgust and humor. She questioned why someone would buy a ticket just to spit on her, attributing the incident to either malicious intent or drunken behavior.
Additionally, Wilson mentioned that she had a wardrobe malfunction during a previous performance, joking about it afterwards.
On a brighter note, Wilson recently announced the opening of her own bar on Broadway. She shared her excitement on Instagram, revealing her dream of bringing a piece of Louisiana to Nashville.
Wilson’s bar was inaugurated on September 18.
