Report Reveals Ben Affleck’s Vacation with Jennifer Garner in LA Before Jennifer Lopez Filed for Divorce
After months of rumors, Jennifer Lopez ended her marriage to Ben Affleck on Tuesday. The actress, who celebrated her second wedding anniversary on August 20, filed for divorce at L.A. County Superior Court. The news came shortly after Ben reconnected with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their children, Fin and Violet.
Despite the surprise announcement of the divorce, several images that surfaced online shocked fans of the former couple. Ben Affleck was seen in Los Angeles with Jennifer Garner and their children just hours before Lopez filed for divorce, according to People magazine.
The exes arrived in Los Angeles on a private jet on Tuesday after dropping their daughter Violet off at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Ben was photographed smiling as he exited the plane carrying a leather duffle bag, with Seraphina, their 15-year-old daughter, following behind in a Yale sweatshirt.
The family, along with Garner, then left in Affleck’s matte-black BMW. An insider revealed to PEOPLE that despite the marital issues between him and Lopez, Affleck has been focused on helping Violet with her move-in to Yale and even had a small birthday celebration with his children for his 52nd birthday, which Lopez also attended.
Reports indicate that Lopez did not sign a prenuptial agreement and requested that spousal support be waived for both parties. She filed for divorce on August 20th, which would have been their second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.
The couple, who had initially called off their engagement in the early 2000s, rekindled their romance in 2021. Lopez and Affleck got engaged in April 2022 and surprised everyone with a wedding in July 2022 at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
