Oberoi mentioned that he will miss Kohli, the “superhero” in T20Is.
“Feeling total emotional turmoil right now! While I am overjoyed celebrating #TeamIndia’s victory, the legendary @imVkohli just announced that this was his last T20 game for Team India…feels like a mix of victory and loss at the same time! Will miss our superhero in T20s,” he tweeted.

After the win, Kohli confirmed to Harsha Bhogle that the final match against South Africa was his last T20 game for India. “We aimed to lift that trophy,” he said.
Talking about his retirement, Kohli added, “Yes, I have retired. It was no secret. I would have announced it even if we had lost. It’s time for the next generation to carry forward T20 cricket.”
