Vijay Varma praises Shah Rukh Khan’s heartfelt nature: ‘He has a way of making you feel like you’re his top priority all day’
Vijay Varma gained recognition in the industry for his outstanding performance in Gully Boy. He has portrayed many memorable characters since then, including Hamza Shaikh in the 2022 film Darlings, which also starred Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The movie was a collaboration between Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
In a recent interview, Vijay Varma shared his experience working on a Shah Rukh Khan production and interacting with the superstar. He mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan has a way of making you feel like you are the center of his attention all day long.

Vijay Varma expressed his disappointment at not having the opportunity to act alongside Shah Rukh Khan. However, by working in his production, he has had the chance to meet and engage with him on several occasions.
He went on to say that Shah Rukh Khan never makes their interactions feel like business meetings. Their conversations always feel personal, and Shah Rukh Khan has a way of making you believe that you are constantly on his mind.
“In his life, if there is anyone, it’s me, and he probably talks about me with his family, even while having his meals, he must be watching my films,” he shared, emphasizing how special Shah Rukh Khan makes you feel.
Vijay also mentioned telling Shah Rukh Khan to reach out whenever he wants to have a chat.
Vijay Varma and Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming projects
Vijay Varma is currently busy promoting Mirzapur season 3, where he plays a double role. The new season, also starring Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi, and Rasika Dugal, premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 5, 2024.
Shah Rukh Khan’s next project is Sujoy Ghosh’s action thriller King, where he portrays a Don. This movie will also mark the first on-screen collaboration with his daughter-actress Suhana Khan.
