Utah CEO and Daughter Killed in Tragic Accident as Bulldozer Crushes Their Car
A father and daughter lost their lives in a devastating accident.
Richard David Hendrickson, 57, and Sally, 16, were tragically killed on July 6 when a bulldozer fell on their car, as reported by Utah Highway Patrol in a news release.
According to the authorities, a tow truck carrying a mini bulldozer veered off a curve causing the bulldozer to break free and land on the pickup truck carrying Richard and Sally in the opposite direction with a boat in tow.
“The bulldozer crashed onto the pickup truck,” the release stated. Two other adult passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while “The adult male driver and one juvenile female passenger tragically lost their lives at the scene.”
Although only Richard’s identity was disclosed by Utah Highway Patrol, Lifetime Products, his company, confirmed the heartbreaking news that both he and Sally had passed away in the accident.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic loss of our CEO and President, Richard David Hendrickson, in a car accident,” wrote the company. “This devastating incident also claimed the life of his daughter, Sally.”
