Deciphering the 50-Part “Who Did I Really Marry” TikTok
When did Reesa learn what she says is the truth about her ex?
During their relationship, Reesa started to notice some of her ex’s lies. For example, in June 2020, she found out that a house she thought they had closed on was actually bought by another couple and taken off the market.
“There is no house. He’s going to have to figure out how to get out of this lie,” she explained in part five. “Keep in mind, I was pregnant and had to make a decision. You’re about to have a baby with this man who’s paying all the bills. Let him handle the lie.”
After uncovering multiple lies, such as using a false social security number when applying for their marriage license in December, Reesa began to investigate his past.
She obtained his real social security number for a background check for her new job and discovered that he had lied about his identity—he wasn’t an executive but a forklift operator. She also learned that he had a criminal record for trespassing and impersonating a police officer.
Upon contacting his family, Reesa found out that he didn’t have the siblings he claimed and was estranged from his two brothers due to his lying. She also learned that he had been married twice during her research.
