Travis Kelce Warns that Criticism of Taylor Swift Could Increase If Chiefs Lose
Travis Kelce is aware that when it rains, it pours.
Despite the undefeated season of the Kansas City Chiefs after five games, the tight end is facing criticism for his performance, with some attributing it to his relationship with Taylor Swift. Travis fears that a loss will result in a deluge of negative comments from critics.
“I just have to keep winning,” Travis mentioned during the episode on Oct. 16 of the New Heights podcast he hosts with Jason Kelce. “If we lose a game, it’s going to be tough, baby.”
With a smile, he added, “So we need to maintain our winning streak and stay at the top.”
These remarks from the 34-year-old came following a discussion on the impact of Travis and Taylor’s relationship on football, led by guest Pat McAfee.
“I’m sure you hear it all the time Travis, your relationship with Taylor is fantastic for the sport,” Pat expressed. “It’s introducing football to a whole new audience and you have been a fantastic ambassador for the sport. Honestly, I believe no one else could do what you’re doing.”
