Travis Kelce makes solo trip to Las Vegas: What did he do without Taylor Swift?
A
fter a chaotic week of celebration that quickly turned to tragedy in Kansas City, few could blame Travis Kelce for wanting to take a week away from the spotlight and hang out in his new happy place. Just days after their second consecutive Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs‘ celebrations were rocked by a horrific shooting at their trophy parade which left one woman dead and 22 injured.
Kelce and his team-mates responded with heartwarming gestures to those affected, with the tight end himself donating $100,000 to two young children wounded in the gunfire.
It meant the Chiefs were unable to enjoy their success while mourning the death of one of their own fans, 43-year-old Lisa Lopez-Gavlan, and Kelce decided to take his mind of things by heading to Vegas for some much-needed rest.
The 34-year-old was spotted playing a round of golf at Wynn Golf & County Club on social media on Tuesday. That was followed by a DJ posting that Kelce had bopped along to his music at a private event for Chiefs players at Toca Madera restaurant.
The DJ, Adam Daudier, wrote: “Apparently Travis Kelce was getting down to my music in the private room last night & management asked me to play a private event for the Kansas City Chiefs
this Friday.”
After a long season finished with a third Super Bowl ring, Kelce has earned the right for some fun with his friends – especially after the horror shooting in their hometown.
Will Travis Kelce fly to see Taylor Swift?
Kelce‘s girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, is currently performing in Australia after resuming her Eras Tour.
There have been rumors that Kelce is planning to fly out to see her girlfriend of six months, but that is unlikely to happen until after she finishes her four-concert tour in Sydney, which starts on Friday.
Given that Swift jetted halfway around the world to see him in the Super Bowl, it seems Kelce is willing to return the favor by traveling Down Under, revealing he would “love” to travel to Australia.
And with the Chiefs now enjoying some downtime during the offseason, Kelce will have no excuse after enjoying some R&R in Sin City.
