Travis Kelce’s Conduct at Taylor Swift Concert Defended
Travis Kelce, the boyfriend of Taylor Swift, threw back a friendship bracelet that was tossed to him by an audience member at one of Swift’s concerts. Despite this, Swift fans have come to his defense.
Swift recently concluded the Australian leg of her Eras Tour, with sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney, performing to large crowds at each concert. Kelce attended her concerts and was captured in a viral video throwing back the bracelet.
The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows Kelce receiving and tossing back the bracelet, resulting in a light-hearted moment. At the time of writing, the post had garnered 1.1 million views.
Friendship bracelets have special significance at Swift’s concerts, derived from her song “You’re on Your Own, Kid.” Despite some criticism online, many have defended Kelce’s actions, attributing it to his football reflexes.
Kelce returned to the U.S. to join his Kansas City Chiefs teammates after Swift’s Australian tour. Swift, on the other hand, continues her international tour in Singapore, with upcoming performances scheduled.
Prior to this incident, Swift fans criticized the Australian media for their treatment of Swift and Kelce during their visit to Sydney Zoo. The media’s use of a helicopter to capture photos and videos of the couple was heavily criticized by fans.
