Travis Kelce Corrects Typo on His $40K Chiefs Super Bowl Ring
Travis Kelce doesn’t believe the Kansas City Chiefs made a mistake with their 2024 Super Bowl ring.
The NFL player addressed the error that many fans have spotted on the $40,000 ring commemorating the team’s fourth Super Bowl victory. As shown on the Chief’s website, the ring listed all four playoff opponents they faced on their way to winning the championship, but incorrectly labeled the Miami Dolphins—who they played on Jan. 13—as the seventh seed instead of the sixth.
During the June 19 episode of their New Heights podcast, Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce, pointed out the “one major little mistake on the ring” and asked if the tight end planned to “have it corrected.”
In response, Travis humorously said, “I don’t really care. Does anyone actually care?”
In fact, the 34-year-old believes that the error “makes it more special.”
“I like that we didn’t worry about what seed Miami was,” he joked. “I think it adds a unique touch. Like, ‘Oh yeah, we paid attention to all the details and, oops, we made a mistake.'”
Travis concluded, “We made a mistake on something that doesn’t really matter.”
