Travis and Jason Kelce Praise Taylor Swift’s Beer Chugging Skills after Super Bowl Moment Goes Viral
Travis and Jason Kelce were more than impressed seeing Taylor Swift chug a beer during Sunday’s Super Bowl.
“She’s getting after it,” Jason quipped on Wednesday’s episode of the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast, admitting at first that he didn’t know what was going on when the pop star and her friend Ashley Avignone grabbed their drinks.
“Pretty cool.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end didn’t realize that Swift’s impressive imbibing appeared on the jumbotron but joked afterward that she must have “done this before.”
“She’s a pro,” observed Travis, 34.
The “All Too Well” singer, also 34, and Avignone dramatically chugged their brews the moment the camera panned to them inside Allegiant Stadium, making viewers wonder if they had launched a secret drinking game.
Although all celebrities present at the game made an appearance on the big screen, Swift’s moment was met with an onslaught of booing from attendees inside the Paradise, Nev., stadium, most of whom were San Francisco 49ers fans.
The “Miss Americana” documentary subject has been dating the Kansas City Chiefs star since last summer, but they didn’t debut their romance until September 2023.
Swift cheered on her boyfriend on Sunday alongside her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as her brother, Austin Swift. She also brought along A-list friends such as Ice Spice, Blake Lively and Keleigh Teller to enjoy the VIP suite, for which Travis paid.

The 14-time Grammy winner wore an all-black outfit featuring a crocheted corset top and crystal-embellished jeans with sparkling slits across the thighs and rounded out her look with a bright red jacket.
She accessorized her ensemble with Travis’ jersey number — 87 — around her neck and added her signature red lip.
Swift later added Travis’ sparkly jacket from his pre-game outfit to keep her warm.
Although the night was a huge one for Travis and the Chiefs, Swifties also experienced a huge moment when the “Out of the Woods” singer hard launched her relationship on TikTok.
The viral video also featured the hilarious moment Swift realized she accidentally went “clubbing” with her parents.
