Tori Spelling Attempted to Stab Her Brother Randy with a Letter Opener During Childhood
During the night Tori broke down, she remembered feeling like she had gone “crazy,” mentioning, “I threw open the door, grabbed my crystal, King Arthur sword in the stone, pulled up my letter opener, and I ran out and tried to stab him.”
Tori later clarified that she did not actually intend to harm him, but Randy was shaken by “the look” his sister gave him, joking, “Something malfunctions, something takes over.”
Reflecting on the incident, Tori confided in her brother that the last time she had a rage episode like that was with her ex Dean McDermott.
“The final fight Dean and I had,” she recalled. “I smashed my baked potato across the kitchen with inhuman strength.”
Tori mentioned that this fight took place in June 2023 and was the breaking point before the former couple—with kids Liam McDermott, 17, Stella McDermott, 16, Hattie McDermott, 12, Finn McDermott, 11, and Beau McDermott, 7—decided to part ways. She had previously spoken about the altercation on her podcast, revealing that the fight led Dean to announce their split on Instagram before taking the post down.
Tori had previously stated that the now-sober Canadian chef “had been drinking” at the time of the incident. In her podcast premiere on March 31, she shared, “He said, ‘Ugh, I’m so sick of this. I have been picking up Tori Spelling’s stuff for 18 years.’ And I lost it.”
